Alleged molestor Mark Dare's jury trial to finally start next Tuesday



Trial assignment was continued to this morning for alleged molestor Mark Dare. Jury trial was scheduled for August 31. It will proceed on September 1 with motions in limine.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor. Deputy Public Defender Marek Reavis is Dare's attorney.

Judge Kaleb Cockrum said Dare had been given special dispensation to be in court. Tuesday and Thursday, so far, are scheduled for motions.

By Friday, the case will be in the official courtroom. Judge Cockrum said court proceedings will be on record.

The alleged victims are his stepdaughters.
