"At this time, I do not have the technical capabities to do what you are asking"

Trial assignment for alleged molestor Mark Dare on August 14 and  jury trial for August 17 were continued to August 21 and continued again to August 28. Dare's case is time waived.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor. Deputy Public Defender Marek Reavis is Dare's attorney.

On August 28, Judge Kaleb Cockrum said there were two other cases proceeding to trial. In those cases, the defendants have not waived time.

There was discussion about scheduling, motions in limine. And a vague reference to a motion by the People that Mr. Reavis said the defense "joins for some level of decorum and public access." This is to "protect confidentiality of some of the materials."

"At this time, I do not have the technical capabities to do what you are asking," said Judge Kaleb Cockrum.

Judge Cockrum said that issue would be addressed and a ruling issued during motion in limine.

40 jurors have been "hardshipped." In the "next week, week and a half, we should have a full panel'" said Judge Cockrum.

Alleged victims are his stepdaughters.

Unless there is something significant, I will add the next trial assignment update and other updates to this post until the case is ready to proceed to trial.
