Another trial confirmation was scheduled for alleged rapist Joseph Hall this morning. Defense requested yet another trial confirmation. Jury trial is still scheduled for September 28.
Hall's attorney is Deputy Public Defender Wade Orbelian. Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for this case. Deputy DA Steven Steward appeared on the case for the People.
Mr. Orbelian and Ms. Schaffer are discussing a stipulation whether experts can appear via Zoom.

9/14: Mr. Orbelian made an oral motion to continue. He had spoken with Ms. Schaffer who had waived written notice. Deputy DA Steven Steward appeared for the People. The alleged victim was notified of the motion.
Ms. Schaffer has another not time waived jury trial scheduled for September 28. Mr. Orbelian said he received over 6,000 pages of Facebook discovery in June and voluminuous telephone data." There is also an expert defense is likely to retain and that expert is checking availability.
Judge Christopher Wilson granted the motion to continue. Trial setting is scheduled for October 6.
