Latest filing for restraining order in Blanck lawsuit against County sheds light on that mysterious State Bar complaint and more

I have not been reporting on the lawsuit filed by County Counsel Jeffrey Blanck against Humboldt County. The docket will get you caught up on what is happening.

On July 23, 2020, Magistrate Judge Robert Illman asked the County to consider Blanck's settlement offer. Ms. Cyndy Day Wilson is Blanck's attorney. The County has hired out of county attorney Stacey Sheston. On July 24, an application for a temporary restraining order was filed by Blanck to prevent the County from holding a personnel hearing on July 30, 2020.

I am posting the first two pages of the restraining order. You are free to open a PACER account to read the rest of the document.

I have contacted Ms. Wilson for comment on recent developments.
