  1. As of today the DA dismissed all charges. Think the S.O. made a Boo boo?

    1. Rusty, first of all I have to confirm what you say and I have made contact with the DA's office. Second, as of May 11, the DA's office had not even received a report on this arrest. Third, they are not doing out of custody arraignments right now and to my knowledge Beth Rynearson has not been arraigned. To dismiss charges, you have to be arraigned first. The DA could chose not to charge someone after reviewing a report. If you can afford a good lawyer and you are out of custody, that lawyer can talk to the DA on your behalf. So let's wait and see what I find out officially, not what you say or heard. Assuming charges were not filed, just like the Glenn Goldan case, the public and media will not know any facts. The alleged victim could decline to press charge or not cooperate with the DA. There are many reasons. I have spoken with Beth once. I don't know who her S.O.is. What I do know in general is the lifestyle of the rich and well connected in this small town and County and how there is different justice if you have money. Rick Littlefield with 5 DUIs got probation and is living life as if he does not have a record. I am not going to speculate because if there is no case,no preliminary, then there are no facts for anyone objective to evaluate. Rusty, you used to admire my independent reporting. Do you still? If you do,then you dont get to cherry pick if something I cover is about someone you may like or know and that goes for for anyone else who has an opinion on reporting. That is a major problem in this town. I dont look the other way if you are well connected and I do my job which is to report whether you are JD Pittman or Beth Rynearson.
