Alma Ahumadamendoza gets Lake County attorney appointed on her case

Appointment of a new attorney was scheduled for Alma Ahumadamendoza. Two attorneys have already declared conflict. See previous post for more details about conflicts and why a private attorney was appointed.

Today, an attorney from Lake County attorney, Mr. Thomas Feimer was appointed to represent Ahumadamendoza. Her codefendant, Demetrius Coleman is represented by Ms. Andrea Sullivan who practices in Lake County as well as other counties in California, including Humboldt.
Ahumadamendoza is charged as an accessory after the fact in the Rio Dell homicide of Johnny Renfro.

Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees appeared for the People. The prosecutor for this case is Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer.

Dates remain set for now. Review of status of preliminary hearing is on June 23. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 28.
