"Four-year-old Rhys wasn’t able to have a birthday party this year due to the shelter in place order, so when our McKinleyville deputies found out about it- they knew they had to do something to brighten his day.
Together with Arcata Fire and some of Rhys’ friends and family, HCSO McKinleyville deputies participated in drive-through birthday party in front of Rhys’ home. Rhys, dressed up like a superhero, was so excited for his birthday surprise."
