Police cleared out the San Jose City Council chambers after activists disrupted the meeting. Eight protesters chained themselves to chairs over the sale of land to Google.
Police brought in bolt cutters, the protestors were escorted out of City Council chambers. They will be booked into jail on a misdemeanor charge.
