A pre trial hearing for Marci Kitchen was scheduled for April 11. Dates confirmed at this time.
Defense indicated there may be an additional date requested before the trial confirmation on May 7 to make sure all discovery has been received.
The courtroom was packed with Joe Kitchen and his family and friends; Faith Tsarnas' family and friends and the Marci Kitchen entourage, including Mel Pearlston.
Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting the case. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell is representing Kitchen.
Faith Tsarnas' mother Stephanie Baldwin was in court with her husband Mark Baldwin.
Even though Jeff Tsarnas is Faith's biological father; Mark Baldwin is her dad; he is the the man who raised her. Faith was a year and a half old. Both traveled from Southern California for this hearing.
Faith Tsarnas friends from school and the community there is just as devastated as many in Humboldt County.
