"We cannot comment due to the potential threat of litigation as is standard protocol for the City."







I contacted both Arcata Mayor Susan Ornelas and Arcata Police Chief Tom Chapman regarding Kyle Zoellner's claim against the City of Arcata.

Chief Chapman responded, "Thank you. We cannot comment due to the potential threat of litigation as is standard protocol for the City."

      I'm confused. Kyle is white. He was arrested for allegedly stabbing a black person. How is the city of Arcata being racists towards Kyle?
