People make another offer to Orick attempted murder suspect Elisha Wilson

A disposition and reset hearing for Orick murder suspect Elisha Wilson was scheduled for this morning.
Another offer was made by the People, different than before. That offer is to plead to shooting at an inhabited dwelling and a weapons allegation with a "six year cap" on a prison sentence.

For now, that offer remains open until preliminary, which is scheduled for September 28.

Instead of a preliminary hearing, there were two interventions held before today to see if Wilson would accept an offer by the People.

Wilson is charged with Count 1 attempted murder; Count 2 assault with a firearm. Both counts have special allegations of using a firearm in the commission of a crime.

Alleged victim is Valerie Ann Hasier.

Deputy District Brent Kling is prosecuting the case. Deputy Public Defender Meagan O'Connell is representing Wilson.
