Cowboy hat wearing suspect James Pawlyk still waiting for NAPA to take him


James Pawlyk had not been transported as of August 17. A confirmation of transport was scheduled for September 19. He is still at the Humboldt County jail. Another hearing to confirm transportation to NAPA state hospital is scheduled for September 28.

    John - what is NAPA? Will they execute??

      NAPA state hospital. When criminal proceedings are suspended in a case and there is a determination by a court appointed psychiatrist, that this inmate is not competen to stand trial, the inmate is sent there for further evaluation.
