"Cory Fisher resigned from employment as a Correctional Deputy on August 22, 2017.  The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Eureka Police Department in this serious investigation.   Fisher will be transported from San Bernardino County to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he will be housed, and the case will be prosecuted by the District Attorney. "
