This morning, there was a hearing in the lawsuit filed by Hillsdale Apartment tenants Don Swall and Vanessa Vachon on Dwivedi LLC's motion to strike.
I am the only one regularly reporting on this lawsuit and just did two recent posts. I also reported that Janssen Malloy Senior Partner Mr. Patrik Griego took over the case for Janssen Malloy.
After the hearing, Mr. Griego told me, "The court denied Dwivedi’s motion to strike from the bench and denied their request to take judicial notice of the lease."
This is now the second loss in a row for Dwivedi LLC with Judge Timothy Canning ruling in favor of Janssen Malloy.
Ms. Krista Baughman from the Dhillon Law Firm appeared for Dwivedi, LLC. There is a Case Management Conference scheduled for 8/18/25 was vacated and rescheduled for 10/10/25.
In my previous post, I wrote this: "I have not heard from Dwivedi LLC since I contacted them for comment in May on Judge Timothy Canning's ruling granting Janssen Malloy's preliminary injunction. I followed up during a phone conversation in June with Mr. Dwivedi."
Mr. Dwivedi and his lawyers know how to reach me if they wish to issue a written statement or response.
