Liberty Healthcare and unknown person interrupt a felony sentencing in Judge Cockrum's courtroom on a busy Monday, both for sexually violent predator Richard Stobaugh's case, the unknown person displayed pornographic material to the courtroom and demanded Stobaugh's release

 

Incompetent Liberty Healthcare should have been at the July 7 hearing and then they would have known the July 14 hearing was vacated.

I want to know how the unknown person demanding release of sexually violent predator Richard Stobaugh was allowed to be on Zoom. That person displayed pornographic material to the courtroom. 

I have reached out to Humboldt Superior Court administration. Humboldt Superior Court Executive Officer Meara Hattan responded, "Hi John- that was a very unfortunate event. The Court’s zoom links are public and “zoom bombing” is an issue that many courts have been experiencing.  Our Court will discuss what measures we may put into place to try and prevent such an occurrence in the future. Thank you."

After Ms. Hattan's reply to me, I found out that this unknown person used a name of a party on the online calendar to get on Zoom.
