Are they turning on Karen Paz Dominguez like they did on Allen McCloskey?

 

We do have local lawyers, businesses, ranchers and people we should be highlighting nationally.

Instead most of the local "media" recycles the same old drama of politics, non profits and rubbish that certain special interests think is "news" and have done this for decades.

The anonymous department heads and staff know that there are no anonymous protests and even if they file a lawsuit as John/Jane Doe, in a court of law there is evidence and testimony. Are they going to recruit protestors to hide their identity? Recruit plaintiffs so they can be anonymous? 

Those who signed an anonymous letter know they don't have to follow through with protests or litigation. If they didn't, there would be no accountability or way to follow up on unknown anons. Anonymous comments, anonymous blogs, anonymous attacks is the Humboldt cabal's modus operandi. 

The County often settles litigation.  That means endless case management conferences,  off the record discussions and not much said in open court. This anonymous letter regarding the Auditor Controller is political theater. There is no risk of retribution for anyone who speaks up that has a cushy government job. Department heads and staff protected by the unions. How do we know these department heads are not chummy with the Board of Supervisors and the small town scratch my back and I will scratch yours Humboldt clique.

If they cared about the public and the County, they would have signed their names.

I am no fan of Karen Paz Dominguez but Mychal Evenson has some interesting connections and people already endorsing him. I would not classify Evenson as someone independent based on the usual Humboldt entrenched associations. This corrupt town will not allow anyone independent. 

Was Lost Coast Outpost was too busy to scour Evenson's Facebook page luke they usually do? If they had they would have seen that his Facebook friends include several conservatives and people from Faith Center. DHHS' Trevis Green also goes to Faith Center. LOCO wouldn't know that because they sit behind a desk and don't really know the connections, apparent or hidden in this community.

Ben Shepherd, one of the people responsible for Ryan Sundberg's loss besides Sundberg's own huge ego is giving Evenson his support. And who cares what Shepherd thinks.

Their article has very little interest and comments by a handful of people. Their regulars who comment multiple times. 

 Commenters such as Mitch Trachtenberg who can't even look up a link, let alone show up for a meeting. Does anyone care what he thinks? Then there is Patrick Cloney who uses every opportunity to say the same pension shtick he has for years on every LOCO post and in an interview with the sub standard that no one reads. 

Are certain people and interests turning on Karen Paz Dominguez like they did on Allen McCloskey? Typical Humboldt backstabbing politics and business as usual. 

Mitch Trachtenberg actually believes that Hank and Thad is on his side 😆. He and others can't even see or don't want to acknowledge who leaked this letter to LOCO. It is anti Karen Paz Dominguez so you don't have to be Einstein to figure it out. 

 Trachtenberg, the Jon Yalcinkayas, EPIC, Eric Kirk who fawn over their "left media saviors" arent going to investigate. Ask yourself why? Who has been trying to get rid of Karen Paz Dominguez? 

An anonymous commenter on LOCO tried to say maybe the publishers won't allow them to investigate. We dont know if that is true. Even if it was true, why do Hank and Thad work for these publishers and owners? If they had such integrity as journalists, shouldn't they pursue news that is of vital public interest? It isn't the first or the second or the third or the nth time LOCO and North Coast Journal  have ignored news or done selective coverage. 

Trachtenberg, the Jon Yalcinkayas, EPIC and the left in Humboldt ignore Hank and Thad's chumminess with people like Matt Owen and Andy Mills. Why?

Maybe the Fox News of Humboldt and preferred choice of  Matt Owen, Rex Bohn, Storme Winter et al is not who you think? 

This is a text sent to NCJ's Thad a while back. It had Thad's cell number so I cropped that part and who sent it to him. 

There are multiple conflicts of interest in who owns and dictates what "local media" covers and the casinos as well as certain ranchers, growers, politicians and businesses who benefit and they like it that way.  Keeping others down so they can prance about this county feeling powerful and convince themselves they are successful. That wouldnt be the case if the playing field was level.
