Is anyone overseeing the present City Manager and Eureka City Department heads and the departments.?

I received a tip about John Polansky, a building inspector about the City of Eureka asking "Wonder how long it took him to get his permit?"

I was going to put in a PRA  about John Polansky's permit but recently received another tip concerning Mr. Polansky and his department. Eureka is about to interview finalists for a new City Manager. I have done posts and tried to confirm if Brian Gerving is one of the finalists. PRAs take time. If Gerving is a finalist, how he runs his department and interacts with people is important.

 Is anyone overseeing the present City Manager and Eureka City Department heads?

We will find out soon if City of Eureka Department heads are among the five finalists for the Eureka City Manager position.
