As reported yesterday, the DA added a Count 3, assault with a deadly weapon to murder suspect Daniella Moore's charges. That motion for the second amended felony complaint was granted today by Judge Timothy Canning.
Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is Moore's attorney. He stated "no opposition without prejudice" and said he would file "a motion to sever, if appropriate."
Moore finally deigned to come to court. Twice the bailiff told Mr. Russo that she was "on her way down"; the second time, she wanted to "put on makeup or something."
She wasn't as tearful as her arraignment. Moore said hi to Mr. Russo as she entered the courtroom. She spoke with him privately before and after her case was called, nodding her head as she responded.
Deputy District Attorney David Moutrie appeared for the People. Deputy DA Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for the case.
