If you see this black Toyota and license number call HCSO or CHP

Followed up on weekend pursuit with HCSO PIO Samantha Karges.

"On Saturday, March 9, at about 8:50 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies initiated a pursuit of a black Toyota pickup truck bearing the wrong license plate. The pursuit began on Highway 96 near the Orleans bridge and continued onto Red Cap Road for about 5 miles. The pursuit was terminated after deputies lost sight of the vehicle near Forest Service Road 10N01."

"On Sunday, March 10, at about 7 a.m. the California Highway Patrol requested the Sheriff’s Office’s assistance with the pursuit of a black Toyota pickup driving southbound on Highway 96 near mile post marker 31. The vehicle was confirmed to be the same truck that was in a pursuit with deputies on March 9. The pursuit continued onto Highway 169 where it was later terminated by the CHP due to unsafe conditions."

"Truck is described as a black 1997 single cab Toyota pickup with the license plate of CA 6GSZ698."
