Besides the fact that his claim was rejected, what is revealing is his criminal past, his behavior which resulted in a protective order being issued against him. This was against an adult. This was back in 2013.

Everett Spillard was sentenced to 15 years to life for three counts of child molestation in May 2018.

Think of what Jane Doe 1 and 2, minors, went through. He was only convicted on counts relating to one victim in the 2018 case. The jury was hung on the other counts.
