Dates finally set for former Miss Hoopa's alleged sexual abuse case but defense plans on filing a motion to continue


At Pre trial today for former Miss Hoopa Kayla Brown, who is charged with alleged sexual abuse of a female minor, dates were finally set.



Trial confirmation is June 4. Jury trial is June 18. Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin who is representing Brown said he intends to file a motion to continue.

The case is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer.
