Setting of the preliminary hearing and receipt of Dr. Gregory's report for Kimberly Felder was scheduled this morning. No report.
Interim Public Defender Marek Reavis told Visiting Judge Leonard LaCasse that Dr. Gregory was appointed in October and has yet to see his client. Mr. Reavis said that his client has been in custody for a year.
District Attorney Maggie Fleming was present in court today for the People. Her office will reach out to Dr. Gregory. Hearing continued to April 9.
Count 1 is attempted Murder with a special allegation that she "personally inflicted great bodily injury upon Jane Doe."
Count 2 is Corporal injury to a child.
Count 3 is Assault with a deadly Weapon; same special allegation as Count 1.
Count 4 is Mayhem.
Count 5 is Child Abuse.
Alleged victim is Felder's own daughter.
Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is prosecuting the case. Interim Public Defender Marek Reavis is representing Felder.
