Local citizens have organized, "Take Back Eureka". Two meetings on September 7 at Old Town Coffee Chocolates from 9 am to 11 a.m and the second one, same location from 7 p.m.-8 .p.m.

ReplyDeleteI don't even live in Eureka and I hope that they need to do this so I can feel safe shopping there. Please Tellthe DA's catch and release program is for fish and game! We don't want her another term... to have a chance to keep doing this to us or the criminals.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I think you need to educate yourself and stop blaming the wrong peopole. Plea deals are a part of the criminal justice system. This DA isn't releasing the criminals, it is Moonbeam and foolish voters that passed Prop 47 and 57 that have created this mess. Either get involved in speaking up and repealing these laws or leave the commenting to those who have a clue about what the problem is and are working on solutions.
