No suspects located yet, EPD continues to investigate reports of shots fired last night near W. Henderson and Albee

EPD Captain Steve Watson provided the following update to last night's call regarding shots fired.

"I can confirm that around 6:37 PM last night, EPD officers responded to a report of shots heard in the vicinity of an alley near W.Henderson and Albee Streets. Multiple callers reported multiple shots heard and a vehicle leaving at a high rate of speed. Officers located an unoccupied vehicle parked in the alley with apparent gunshot damage, expended shell casings, and additional gunshot damage to a nearby structure.  A witness observed a vehicle flee the scene. What is believed to be another involved vehicle was later located near Pine / W.15thStreet. The second vehicle also had sustained gunshot damage and shell casings were found inside it.

Officers conducted a security sweep of a residence adjacent to the alley where the shooting occurred. The neighborhood was also canvassed and no victims or other damage were located.

This is just a general synopsis of what we have.  No involved suspects have been located at this time.  EPD investigators are following up with additional evidence work."
