Looks like Kyle Zoellner preliminary is on for Monday

An intervention hearing was scheduled this morning for Kyle Zoellner at 9:45 a.m. in Courtroom 5.

Zoellner is charged with the murder of HSU student David J. Lawson. That count has a special allegation that he used a knife in the commission of the alleged crime.

Zoellner was not being brought down for intervention. Preliminary hearing is set for Monday.

Zoellner's parents were in the hallway.

    Is it surprising that the preliminary is still happening on Monday? I though it would be pushed back several months. It sounds like the evidence against him is pretty thin, especially with that last minute filing of the charges.
