A Mckinleyville resident and First Baptist Church member appeals to the community for help.
"Some time between 2:30 and 3:00 PM Mckinleyville First Baptist Church on Murray Road has been tagged with graffiti and broken in to. Sheriff has been contacted and is en route."
" If you live in the area and have seen anything amiss this afternoon please let me know."
The church member added nothing inside appeared to have been "disturbed". Also, thinks alarm may have scared away whoever was trying to get into the church and that the church has been tagged before.
