Young girl allegedly abducted by non custodial parent from Washington Elementary

Young girl allegedly abducted by her non-custodial parent today from Washington Elementary, according to scanner traffic.

Humboldt County on Alert had this additional information:

UPDATE: Suspect vehicle is WHITE Ford Fiesta license # 7dck185

Update: Suspects first name is Nadine.

Parental abduction from Washington Elementary. 2014 red Ford Fiesta. Abducted juvenile is female -- McKenzie Fleek with a DOB in 2006.

On 12/09/16, at approximately 3:14 PM, officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to the 3300 block of Dolbeer Street regarding a possible parental child abduction. It was reported a 10-year-old female was removed from the location by her mother in violation of a civil restraining order.

The victim, Mackenzie Lois Fleek, was last seen leaving the location in the company of her mother, Nadine Schifano, in a white Ford Fiesta. Family members stated Schifano made statements earlier in the week that she intended to abduct her daughter and drive her to Illinois.

Fleek was described as a white female, 4 foot 6 inches tall, weighing 86 pounds, with brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair. Schifano was described as a white female adult, 33 years of age, 5 foot 7 inches, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

The vehicle was described as a white 2014 Ford Fiesta bearing California license 7DCK185. Anyone with information is asked to call the Eureka Police Department at (707) 441-4044.
