Nickolas Johnson, charged with the murder of David Ganfield and possession of drugs in jail, entered a change of plea. His jury trial for the homicide case scheduled to start September 11 was vacated.
The plea offer is second degree murder; 15 to life.
According to court minutes, a new case is being charged next week.
