Due to transportation issues, Antone Aubrey's hearing on outpatient treatment delayed

 


On 8/11, Antone Aubrey's petition hearing for outpatient treatment was continued by stipulation due to transportation issues from the Department of State Hospital He could not be transported until 8/13.

Three days had been set aside for this hearing. Setting was scheduled for 8/13. I will add an update from yesterday.

8/13/25: Defense requests continuance; no objection by the People; continued by stipulation to 8/15. People & defense still need to hear back about witness availability.

8/15/25: Deputy DA Brandon Boozari was in court and appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Public Defender Emery Welton via Zoom. Judge Timothy Canning asked the clerk to send transport order to Department of State Hospitals. Readiness + confirmation of transport scheduled for 10/7. Hearing on petition for outpatient treatment scheduled for 10/13, 10/14 and 10/15.
