District Attorney's office has filed an exyension for the restraining order against convicted molestor Chad Smith who is in prison. Assistant Deputy DA Stacey Eads also filed a declaration.
Jane Doe's mother who is Smith's ex was in court this morning. Judge Kelly Neel continued the hearing to this afternoon since Smith's attorney, Ms. Andrea Sullivan, was giving closing arguments in a jury trial. If both parties submit, Judge Neel will sign the order. Otherwise, it will be sent to another courtroom.
The hearing was continued to continued to 1/17/23 by the Court. Ms. Sullivan was relieved; Public Defender's office was appointed.
