Rapist Patrick Marshall arrested for probation violation

Patrick Michael Marshall was arrested by Eureka Police Department today on a bench warrant for probation violation. A petition for VOP was filed on 11/29/22.

Marshall resolved his alleged molestation case with a plea for statutory rape.

This should definitely affect his deferred entry of judgement. Will he serve any consequences?

12/6/: At his VOP arraignment, Judge Timothy Canning set no bail after arguments by Deputy District Attorney Trent Timm who appeared in court for the People. Public Defender Luke Brownfield was present for his office. Deputy Public Defender was Marshall's attorney for the 2019 case.

OR/bail hearing is scheduled for 12/8 and VOP revocation hearing for 1/4/23.The DEJ date for 4/20/23 remains; for now.

12/8: Court changed to no bail status. Marshall admitted probation violation and was sentenced to 60 days in jail with custody credits for 9 days. 1/4/23 date vacated. DEJ on 4/20/23.
