Unlike California, Louisiana cares who wears a Judge's robe

Louisiana Judge Michelle Odinet has been suspended by the Louisiana Supreme Court after a video from her home surveilance footage went viral of her using the n word repeatedly and other derogatory racial slurs.

The State Judiciary Commission supported this decision. More than 100 complaints were filed against Odinet. There was only one Louisiana Supreme Court Justice who dissented.

Judge Vanessa Harris will take the duties from Judge Odinet starting today to February 28, 2022.

Judge Odinet is "hereby is disqualified from exercising judicial functions, without salary, during the pendency of further proceedings in these matters." The Louisiana Supreme Court has officially opened an investigation against the disgraced judge.

I did a previous post with details on Judge Odinet on December 15.

12/31: Odinet resigned in a letter sent to the Louisiana Supreme Court today.
