The trial confirmation for Cesar Valenzuela this morning was continued to August 17. Jury trial is scheduled for August 24.
Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo made the request to continue saying "negotiations are occurring."
Valenzuela is the last defendant from the Manila 5 homicide who has not resolved his case. Victim is Tyson Claros.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for the case.
