Jury trial in Kalin v Elvine-Kreis scheduled for June 7

As I reported earlier today, Case Management Conference in Rory Kalin vs Gregory Elvine-Kreis was continued to this afternoon. Mendocino Superior Court Judge Ann Moorman appeared remotely.

Judge Elvine-Kreis' attorney is Mr. Patrik Griego. Kalin's attorney was Ms. Cyndy Day-Wilson. Today, his new attorney, Jonathan Hornberger from Manhattan Beach law firm, who substituted in on July 24, made his first appearance on the case.

Motion to compel is scheduled for September 21. Another case management conference on October 26. Jury trial on June 7, 2021.

Mr. Griego said the motion to compel may not be necessary. "New counsel has agreed to provide answers. Switching counsel may get us answers we are seeking." Mr. Griego waived request for sanctions.

Judge Moorman asked the parties to engage in some kind of alternative dispute resolution.
