What impact will subpoenaed records from HCSO and evaluation of former correctional deputy Cory Fisher have on his jury trial?

Former correctional deputy Cory Fisher's case has a pre trial conference for the status of subpoenaed records is scheduled this morning

I already reported on the records being subpoenaed by HCSO and the jail access being granted for evaluation in November.  By stipulation, subpoenaed documents from HCSO were provided to defense.

Trial Confirmation scheduled for December 31 was confirmed. Jury trial is currently scheduled for January 22.

Charges for Fisher include alleged molestation of his stepsons and son as well as alleged forcible oral copulation and unlawful touching of intimate part of Humboldt County inmates.

  1. Some of those records may amount to: extensive time spent in Juvenile Hall. Eureka PD was fully aware of his background when Fisher was hired on as a county correctional officer. Also as a minor, Fisher made up false claims to EPD about being abducted. He should have not been hired.
