Another alleged assault and robbery that is cannabis related
On Dec. 5, 2018, at about 3 a.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on the 2600 block of Bolier Ave. in McKinleyville for the report of a male subject with head injuries.
Upon further investigation, deputies learned that shortly before 3 a.m., three male subjects arrived at the residence and began to physically assault the victim with metal bats. The suspects demanded money and cannabis. The suspects fled the residence with over 60 pounds of cannabis trim and other items of value.
Following a medical exam, the victim was found to have injuries to his head and torso, as well as a stab wound to the chest. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
The suspects are described as:
White male in his mid 30’s, wearing dark colored cargo shorts, a black jacket, a black ski mask and a black hat, carrying a pipe or bat.
White male in his early 20’s, wearing dark blue jean shorts, a black jacket with a red liner, a black hat and a black neoprene face mask, carrying an aluminum baseball bat.
White male in his early 20’s wearing all black clothing.
