"In this day and age to have to wait three weeks to certify an election seems preposterous and to still have 44% of the vote not counted is horrific."

"John  after reading your post about the number of unprocessed ballots in the recent Humboldt County election, these are my thoughts," said local business owner Gregg Gardiner.

"The election system in Humboldt County is broken and it needs reform. I’m not blaming the election office, they’ve inherited a basically broken system."

"In this day and age to have to wait three weeks to certify an election seems preposterous and to still have 44% of the vote not counted is horrific."

"By percentage points and the number of uncounted ballots (23,944) in Humboldt county, it makes the problems in Florida and Arizona pale in comparison.

"Of the total votes cast 53,154 only 55.7 percent (29610) were counted on election day. Still remaining are 44.4 percent (23,554). The uncounted number 44.3% is the number to be concerned about."

The uncounted number 44.3% is the number to be concerned about.

"If over 44% of uncounted votes happened in Florida or Arizona, this would be national news."

"With all the technology that we have at our fingertips today and all the examples of how well elections are processed in other communities and in other states, it just makes you wonder."

  1. If it's happening here it's happening everywhere. It's not broken it's corrupt.
