Yocum held to answer, however Deputy DA anticipates charging Henley as a suspect


Kattie Rae Yocum, charged with arson of the Blue Heron, was held to answer by Judge Dale Reinholtsen after her preliminary hearing, which just concluded.

Arraignment on information is September 20 at 8:30 a.m.


EPD officer Heinrich Soltow was the  only witness presented bythe People. Desite efforts to locate her yesterday and today, Desiree Henley was MIA.

Soltow's testimony was basically the police report, that has already been released.

The crucial information was provided during an excellent cross examination by Deputy Public Defender Meagan O'Connell. That was followed by Deputy District Attorney AJ Kamada admission in court that they anticipate charging Desiree Henley as a suspect.
