And while the Democrats hold both houses of the legislature there's so much in-fights with the upcoming elections partisan Democratic politics are going to keep important issues from discussed and decided. The ones who have already filed to run on some offices are out raising funds while others are waiting (but still fundraising for the future) to see what skeletons the other candidates have in their closets as well as which of the declared candidates can't raise funds.
ReplyDeleteTwo who want to be governor are already undesirable, in my eyes. One was the mayor of LA and before that, in the legislature and before that, a union organizer. The other was the mayor of SF but his Wiki biography lists him first as an American politician and second as a businessman. For someone who wants to run the state I think I'd want someone who was a businessman first. The other did have some experience (after failing to win another political race) 'advising' Herbalife...you know, the global pyramid scheme company.
But please don't turn off because it's messy and you can't sort through the lies. Maybe that's what some people want, like the lawyers who want only those on their jury that will vote their way.
