EPD Press Release:
On August 10, 2017, at about 11:15 a.m., officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Madrone for the report of a man passed out in his parked running vehicle. Officers detained the male and identified him as Eureka resident, Jesse Hanson (36 years old)
Hanson was found to be in possession of about two ounces of black tar heroin, one ounce of crystal methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,300 in US Currency. Hanson was arrested and his vehicle was impounded.
Hanson was transported and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for numerous drug related charges (sales and transport), driving under the influence of drugs, and driving on a suspended license.
April 17, 2014 at about 2:50 AM, officers responded to the 2100 block of David Way for a report of suspicious noises in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located a male subject attempting to steal a vehicle which he had forced entry into.
Jesse Allen Hanson was detained while officers investigated. During the investigation, officers located several additional vehicles which Hanson had forced entry into. (33 years old)
Hanson was arrested for three counts of Penal Code Section 459 (Burglary), California Vehicle Code Section 10852 (Tampering with a Vehicle) and PC 1203.2 (Violation of Probation) as Hanson was on Post-Release Community Supervision.
Hanson was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
He seems to have quite a career. His family must be so proud. Hopefully they disowned him before he brought them down too. Keep that revolving door moving. This catch and release business has to get boring for everyone involved after a certain number of times.
