Harland Law Firm's Allison Jackson just gave me this quote on the Magney decision.
"This was one of the most profoundly disturbing cases I've handled in my career. I am not only grateful the Appellate Court spoke so strongly and decisively, I am also incredibly grateful that our State Supreme Court quickly denied the request to depublish the case."
The sort of victory an attorney must love to win; not just for herself, for the clients, but for the ethical and moral as well as legal issues involved. If there's a local Bar Association I hope they take notice of her work. She makes the profession look good for everyone to see and read about.
