The Times-Standard incorrectly reported that the Humboldt County aggressive solicitation ordinance's first reading passed unanimously on June 21.
The vote was reported accurately in the NorthCoast News article by Jeremy Chen. I just confirmed that with Ana Hartwell, deputy clerk for the Board of Supervisors. o
The vote on June 21 was 4-1, with Mark Lovelace dissenting. Lovelace did sign the final draft of the ordinance and it is set to be adopted at the June 28 meeting, according to Ms. Hartwell.
