On July 18, 2016, at about 11:05 a.m., detectives with the Eureka Police Department’s
Problem Oriented Policing unit (POP) served a search warrant at a residence on the 800
block of O Street as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the search, detectives located two loaded firearms, ammunition, 9.5 ounces of
heroin, scales, over $7,000 in cash, and useable amounts of methamphetamine,
marijuana, suboxone, and prescription medications.
Six people were arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
Roscoe Reidel, 40 of Eureka. Possession of controlled substances while armed,
felon in possession of a firearm, possession of controlled substances for sales,
possession of marijuana for sales, maintaining a drug house, and an outstanding
warrant for knowingly bringing a controlled substance into jail.
Monte Jarnaghan, 21 of Hoopa. Possession of controlled substances while armed
and possession of controlled substances for sales.
Jana Claymore, 35 of Salyer. Possession of controlled substances while armed
and possession of controlled substances for sales.
Leanna Dunken, 36 of Eureka. Possession of controlled substances and probation
violation.
William Wright, 31 of Eureka. Possession of controlled substances and
probation violation.
Suntalena Downs, 35 of Eureka. Possession of controlled substances and
probation violation.
