So it is ok for Elvine-Kreis' lawyer to do it but not Ray Christie's lawyer?
I wrote in one of my previous posts that it is difficult to keep up with dates in the Rory Kalin vs Humboldt Superior Court Judge Elvine-Kreis, Humboldt Public Defender Luke Brownfield and former Public Defender Marek Reavis.
Since my last post, an ex parte hearing request to advance motion to compel was scheduled for 9/2.
In addition to motion to compel scheduled on 9/13, there is now a motion to continue trial.
I have included some documents from defense and an order from Mendocino Superior Court Judge Ann Moorman. Depending on if and when Kalin's lawyer files a response, I will add it to this post.
If you have the money, justice is different because lawyers drag out cases for years.
The defense has stalled, made excuses. If the defense has nothing to hide, why are they afraid of a trial where the public gets to vet both sides. The out of area lawyer hired by the County to defend Brownfield and Reavis describes Kalin's lawsuit as kitchen sink allegations. The same can be said about the defense filings.
Elvine-Kreis is a hypocrite. His lawyer,Mr. Patrik Griego and his buddies Reavis and Brownfield's lawyers are engaging in the same tactics and behavior Elvine-Kreis criticized and berated when Ray Christie's s lawyer, Mr. Rick Richmond was defending his client.
For those who don't read my blog regularly, Elvine-Kreis was whining about paperwork being filed weekly, frequently, court dates being scheduled and rescheduled and continuances.
