Dakota Lee Stanley was arrested by Eureka Police Department yesterday for PC 288.2(a)(2) sending harmful material to seduce a minor, PC 288.3(a) contacting a minor for sexual purposes and to commit a felony PC288.4(b) arranging a meeting with a minor to commit a lewd and lascivious act, PC 417.4 brandishing an imitation firearm in a threatening manner PC 647.6(b) annoying or molesting a child under 18 and HS11377 (a) possession of methamphetamine.
The booking photo except for the hair color seems to match this Facebook profile.
Three cases in Humboldt Superior Court including this arrest.
The DA charged Stanley with PC288.4(b) arranging a meeting with a minor to commit a lewd and lascivious act and PC 288.2(a)(2) sending harmful material to seduce a minor.
2/21: arraigned, bail $50,000, Public Defender appointed. OR bail 2/23; preliminary hearing 2/29.
2/23: Retired Judge Marilyn Miles denies motion for release.
2/29: Preliminary hearing continued by defense to 3/5.
3/5: Preliminary hearing continued by defense to 4/9. DA expects to file amended complaint.
4/9: Deputy Public Defender made an oral motion to continue the preliminary hearing. No objection by Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer. Motion granted by Judge Joyce Hinrichs and the new date is 5/1.
DA filed an amended complaint and detailed copy is not in e court which is standard for Humboldt courts. DA added Count 3 PC 311.11 (a).
