Just checked with City Clerk Pam Powell about Eureka City Council candidates. As of 1:54 p.m. these are the potential candidates we know of for Ward 2 and Ward 4.
Ward 2:
Tamar Shirley and Lucinda Jackson both have qualified. Dot Jager Wentworth’s signatures are at the County being verified.
Ward 4
Matthew Owen and Liza Welsh both have there signatures in; they are also at the County being verified.
There are few people that took paperwork but have not returned them, yet.
The only Lucinda Jackson I have found so far in Eureka is an an admin analyst at the County of Humboldt, according to Transparent California and her Linkedin profile and a woman of faith from her Facebook posts.
