Received this inquiry from one concerned citizen today.
There is another comment about Cooley being placed in Freshwater, left on one of my previous posts.
As I mentioned previously, information (accessible to the public) in the court record system regarding this placement has been difficult to locate.
Cannot confirm the placement if I don't have access to the notice, the hearing or the specific case. Nothing under his two older criminal cases.
A hearing for July 26 was not on the court calendar. The hearing has been continued to August 23.
Notices were supposed to have gone out to the community. I directed the concerned citizen to the District Attorney's office.
This is a sexually violent predator. Whatever confidential category this case may be under, at least dates and listing on the court calendar are there for other confidential cases.

At this time the hearing is set for August 23 at 8:30pm. The landlord, according to online search and public records, is Aleen Arbaugh. Aleen does not live on Howard Hts Rd, but she has rentals there. She was a school teacher at Zane MIddle School. She is now property mnanager of Arbaugh Rentals, and her phone number is listed through online search as (707) 443-5413. IT appears that her husband is Scott Arbaugh who owns Humboldt Plumbing. I'm at a loss how Aleen and Scott can apparently think it's safe to bring to HOward Hts a sexual predator who according to the case file was found guilty of multiple sexual assaults on a 12-year-old, repeatedly violated parole and was found by three experts to be at high risk of recidivism.
