Humboldt Pride kicks off with church groups, gay and straight alliance, trans pride and the diversity of LGBTQ local community marching in fabulous style

Church lady for LGBTQs, St. Albans Episcopal Church, Trans Pride, Supervisor Virginia Bass, Eureka Police Chief Andy Mills, Councilmember Natalie Arroyo with marched along with Grand Marshall Linda Shapeero and others as the Humboldt Pride kicked off.

Chief Mills who was a Judge at the Cruz N Eureka show came over to march down to Halvorsen park.

The L Word provided a historical perspective to the parade. One end of the banner held by the founder, the other by a young lady born the year L Word was started.

It was so good  to see my friends Brian, Jamila, Cameron, Reese, Loren, Jessica and many others I have not seen in a while.
