On Friday November 3^rd, 2017 at approximately 8:00 am a home owner called the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office to report her Shelter Cove home was being currently being burglarized.

No shave November".  For $30 donated to a local charity,  staff can participatein "No shave November" or have dye their hair blue. Why blue? Blue, is to recognize victims and survivors of child abuse.

Arson and assault suspect Anthony Domenico's jury trial confirmed

Anthony Domenico's jury trial is scheduled for November 6. Trial assignment was scheduled for this morning.

January 11 is the preliminary date scheduled for court clerk John Beideman's hearing

Intervention and preliminary dates are expected to be set for John Beideman this morning. After attorneys discussed scheduling, Intervention was set for January 4. Preliminary for January 11.

Time estimate was an hour and 10 minutes unless it is a "live" preliminary hearing which means the alleged victim would testify.

Two juveniles allegedly assaulting a Ray's employee while trying to steal beer booked for resisting arrest, battery on an officer and robbery

   

On Thursday November 2nd at approximately 6:40 am Humboldt County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Ray's Supermarket in Mckinleyville to a report of employee's being assaulted by two male shoplifters who were attempting to steal beer. 

HCSO releases booking photo of Florida homicide suspect arrested in Westhaven

HCSO released the booking photo of 29 year Samuel Shultz arrested by SWAT on 10/31/2017 in Westhaven.

According to a brief press release, Shultz is a suspect in a homicide that occurred on July 3, 2017 at the Auvers Village apartments in Orange County Florida.

Elisha Wilson sentencing was continued again today to November 15. This the second continuance. Today, Wilson waived time for sentencing.

Will David Kobak's case resolve today or will the preliminary hearing be confirmed?

Further  intervention is scheduled for David Kobak this afternoon. There have been ongoing discussions between the People and defense about resolving the case.

Kobak is charged with the murder of Frederick Loftus. Preliminary confirmed for November 6.
