Richard Sanderson was convicted by a jury for assault, false imprisonment, domestic violence and criminal threats in his 2025 case.
On 4/30, Leonard Miller addressed the court. Sanderson was sentenced by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward to 4 years 8 months with 512 custody credits.
Defense Romero motion to dismiss prior conviction was denied by Judge Steven Steward.
Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin is Sanderson's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Brandon Boozari is the prosecutor.
